International Admissions Specialist

AuPairCare is currently seeking a skilled and experienced International Admissions Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the Director of International Admissions, this position is responsible for developing and managing important international partner relationships, quality au pair candidate recruitment, and timely au pair arrivals. This position offers international travel and is Work From Home office for remote candidates or hybrid office environment for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area. 


  • Managing a region of overseas partner relationships
  • Ensuring quality recruitment of candidates thru careful review of applications
  • Maintaining compliance with Department of State and AuPairCare quality standards
  • Responding to customer service inquiries from our field staff and headquarters team
  • Handling pre-arrival au pair logistics, including arrival date changes and match withdrawals
  • Assist with special projects such as newsletters, contests, and training initiatives
  • Achieving recruitment goals and supporting growth in target markets



  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume, fast paced environment
  • Experience developing & maintaining long-distance, collaborative relationships via telecommunications
  • Ability to travel internationally and/or domestically when required
  • Friendly, positive attitude and cross-cultural sensitivity
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills in the work place
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database software
  • Bachelor’s degree


Participation in cultural exchange program; working, studying or living abroad
Proficiency in a second language, preferably Spanish or Portuguese
Salesforce customer relationship management systems
Account management experience
